USCAC Introduction and History
About the University of the Sunshine Coast's Athletics Club.
The University of the Sunshine Coast Athletics Club (USCAC) is committed to promoting athletics on the Sunshine Coast. The Club’s home is at the University of the Sunshine Coast athletics track which is a world class, all-weather tartan track.
The USCAC welcomes and encourages athletes of all abilities from Under 12’s to Open and Masters. The Club provides a yearly calendar of activities that includes Track and Field and Cross-Country events.
Coaching for all levels is available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 3:30 most days to around 6:00pm.
Regular Club Meets are held from July to March on either a Saturday or Sunday afternoon providing club members and non-club members local competition.
Two Track and Field Carnivals are also held during the Athletics Track and Field season. These carnivals attract clubs from all over South-East Queensland and offer a higher level of competitions to the athletes on the Sunshine Coast.
During the Track and Field off-season (April to June), USCAC in conjunction with the Maroochydore Athletics Club organizes the annual Cross-Country Series which consists of 6 events held at various venues around the Sunshine Coast.
The Cross-Country Series is a great opportunity for families to enjoy a pleasant active outing together.
