USCAC COVID-19 SAFE PLAN
- Assign a COVID safe officer– Johan Wiesner
- Ensure social distancing is maintained at all times. And ensure spectators; parents; coaches; other athletes and officials have no physical contact with competitors, unless absolutely necessary. Remind social distancing via loud speaker.
- Post on Website – USCAC COVID SAFE PLAN
- Mark Entry and Exit points of ‘Field of Play’ (USCAC Track – Refer Map))
- Close off ALL other field d of play entry points
- Provide Spectator/coach/parent Sign In station to record attendance
- Advise all athletes/spectators/parents/coaches who attend that they should leave venue immediately if any of the following apply:
- Have in the last 14 days travelled from overseas or a COVID-19 hotspot
- Have been in close contact with a person who; is positive for COVID-19; or has been in a COVID hotspot in the past 14 days
- Are an active COVID-19 case
- Have any of the following COVID-19 symptoms; cough; fever; sore throat; fatigue; or shortness of breath
- Advise good COVID safe hygiene is required of all who attend meet by
- Providing Sanitisation Stations with COVID Keeping Distance’ Signs (Australian Govt) & ‘How to use Sanitiser’ at essential areas within the Field of play at designated Zones (Track/Discus/Javelin/Shot Put/Long Jump/High Jump); at spectator sign in station; event payment/athlete mark off station; Field of Play entry & exit points; and official recording room
- Marshalling to track and field events will be totally non-contact
- Results will be posted electronically athletes will be encouraged to leave venue immediately following their last event
- High Jump mats, if required, will be prepared as directed by QA COVID safe Event Plan for track & Field – Wipe mats down with 70% ALOH & 30% Water 30mins prior event start time
