Sunshine Coast Council – Major Grant Funding Recipients – $ $7450

An EDM (Electronic Distance Measure) will be used at our throwing events, Discus; Javelin & hammer to reduce the workload of our volunteers and to allow accurate electronic measurement of those throwing events.

Thanks to the Sunshine Coast Council’s grant program we will require less officials to run the throwing events and have more accurate measurement.

The Buderim Foundation provided funds in the form of a grant

valued at $4,363!

 

USCAC would like to recognise and thank the Buderim Foundation for providing funds in the form of a grant for $4,363!

Athletics is an out door sports & with this funding USCAC will be able to purchase THREE NEW MARQUES from local Coolum company Expanda sign which will provide shade for our athletes & officials.

The Buderim Foundation provided funds in the form of a grant valued at $1149.00

At one of our cross-country events last Winter our PA system was stolen.

This PA system is not only used during the Cross-County’s series but is also essential to amplify the race start sound at our track meets & carnivals.

With the money granted by the Buderim Foundation we were able to purchase a new quality PA system!

Sunshine Coast Council – Major Grant Funding Recipients – $ 6242.00

USCAC required more hurdles to replace our old & broken ones. Thanks to the Sunshine Coast Council’s grant program we now have a compliment of 60 hurdles & supporting trolley. With this grant funding we will now be able to offer more hurdle events to our local athletes at our meets and carnivals.

Sunshine Coast Council – Minor Grant Funding Recipients – $ 1995.00

A defibrillator is an essential life saving piece of medical equipment. Thanks to the Sunshine Coast Council’s grant program we now have a LIFEPAK CR2 portable Defibrillator.

Sunshine Coast Council – Minor Grants Community Facilities

May 23 round Recipient – $ 1230.00

 

The finishing line timing building houses our USCAC photo finish camera. In summer that room can reach temperatures of around 40 degrees which reduces the life of and can in fact damage the delicate electronics in the camera.

Sunshine Coast Councils grant funding has allowed us the purchase & install a Coastal Skylights – Solar powered Roof Ventilator that will help to remove the excess summer heat.
